Foxconn has been known for its human rights abuses of its workers.. this isn't new. While China economically is becoming more and more powerful over the USA, it still has a lot to learn about work place human rights.
This is why they are becoming more and more powerful. They feel that the end justifies the means regardless of the human toll.

You know who will fall for that? People who fell for the iPad in the first place.
What makes you think that? Surely anyone with enough brains to spend $499 on a useful device instead of $299 on a useless netbook wouldn't fall for an obvious scam like that.
On a crappy netbook you might fall for a message in crappy English. An iPod user would take one look and say "surely this message cannot be sent by Apple".

If you don't die on that day, you're a reject.
:(
Do you think we will see any of those cult-like mass suicides from crazies thinking it really is going to be the end of the world?

My only question would be; how does the design relate to what you do?
Also, does the company you've got the job with have it's own branding that should possibly be incorporated?

The daily mail also have a video of him leaving a shop, looking "frail and unsure on his feet"

I must point out to all the non Brits here, the Daily mail is quite possibly the worst paper in this country. They're xeno and homophobic and often print outright lies.

Line is growing a lot. Now is about to time to come if you want your first pick at colors/choices.
Whats your guess on the amount of people?
I'm really bad at guessing. 75-100 people? Maybe a little less.

They would be less likely than Roxio... I mean Napster. Though it did seem to be their only profitable thing right now, this still seems strange to me.

I've been frustrated with this too - the best I found was Picasa Web Integrator:
http://www.paulvanroekel.nl/picasa-web-restyled/integrator/
It takes a bit of effort to set up but doesn't look to bad in the end. It works with lightbox as well.
Good luck!

You weren’t clear about your questions, you keep going back and forth about Safari’s refreshing thing on iOS and iOS vs. Lion. I tried to explain everything from the beginning.
Well finally we get to something that might actually be helpful. This would help to explain why Macs don't do this. But are there any issues/concerns with this?
The NANDs (flash storage) in the mobile devices are too slow to constantly swap out between the system memory and the NANDs. The other problem is that the more you swap out from the NANDs, the faster it dies. The smaller the capacity, the faster it can die as well. NANDs have a very limited write lifespan, it can’t handle the brutal write-intensive swap page. RAM doesn’t have this problem, which is why it is used for memory tasks.
I know why they did it. And that is the way Apple wants it, that's why it's default. If it were up to Apple the option to put it back would be gone. But they were smart enough to anticipate the "outrage"It doesn’t have anything to do with a potential outrage from customers, Apple usually do not care about this. The biggest reason that it is optional is because the auto-resume/auto-save/versions are not mandatory and each app have to be written to take advantage of those features. It’ll be a long time before every apps on your Mac can take advantage of this.
This is my point of concern. No closing could cause apps to "close" that you didn't want them to. Now most of them would be able to *resume* as left with no issue. But would 30 safari tabs be handled the same way? You can still close the applications the same way as you do on Snow Leopard. If the system becomes slow, the OS will not start to close apps, it’ll just be slower as it adapt to using your hard drive. Safari is the same way, you close Safari and once it opens, it’ll start in a new tab waiting for you to visit a site. As far as I am aware, it doesn’t resume *yet* from your previous session.
The only major difference between Lion and SL in terms of resuming is how the apps open back up and how it automatically save your files.

Is there a way to record HD video using the 2011 MBP's FaceTime HD camera? PhotoBooth seems to be recording low-res video only.

I shot some DV in 1080p and when converting it in iMovie I see this message that prompts me to believe that iMovie thinks that 1080p HD cannot be viewed by the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4. Is this correct?

I pre-ordered my copy, but who can pass up on an opportunity to hang out with other Mac fanatics. I mean, I can't. Also, the possibility of free Leopard T-Shirt? Just icing on the cake. I'll be there around 4:30 or so @ Green Hills. Funny to think the last OS release I went to was at 'ol MacAuthority.
