I got
Connection Error: Could not connect to MySQL instance at localhost. Error: Unknown system variable 'sql_mode' (code 1193) I have the exact same error. I attribute it to something I don't know that I'm doing wrong. Perhaps someone can shed some light?

Your answer helped. So now I know that <**> are only for system provided classes.
Actually, <include.h> is for headers that are found in the -I include paths specified in the CFLAGS var usually with make. You could add -I/path/to/your/headers to your GCC command line and then #include <yourheader.h> just like any other "system" include. #include "yourheader.h" includes headers either with an absolute or relative path to the current working directory of the compiler, which when using a make based system, happens to be your source directory.
Just some extra info there for you.

They're all the same. Get the fastest/cheapest.
Agreed. I only got crucial b.c the price was almost the same $$ as the g.skill.
That being said EVERYONE uses g.skill ram in the PC world. They all OC very well. I hvn't heard of many complaints.
IMHO OWC and Crucial is ripoffs unless you get a good price.

Most packages for consumer products are designed for one of three purposes:
1) To improve the packaging of an existing product;
2) To add a new product to an existing product line; or
3) To contain an entirely new product.
I want to know what type of packages you redesign?

30% power savings sounds good to me. My regular AT&T cell phone is a battery hog and it is almost unreadable when the backlight is off. Having the LED display itself be the light sounds sweet. Imagine how much longer the iPhone battery life would have been with that kind of display, especially given the resolution differences are almost trivial at that size. I'm not sure Apple made the best choice here.

Where you define the code, you need to put in classname::functionname
Do this for every function you define. This need not be done if you are within the class declaration.
void login::find()
{
ifstream file;
file.open("file.txt");
string input=inputusername;
string input_line;
bool found = false;
while( file >> input_line ) {
if( input_line.compare(input) == 0 ) {
cout << "The name " << input_line << " was found in file.\n";
found = true;
break;
}
}

Arse to that.
There will be plenty of stock to go round, so no idiot e-Bay price inflation.

Looks like your drive may be failing.. I had this same problem with a 500gb Western Digital external hard drive about a year ago. It just didn't mount all of the sudden and then quit working all-together. You still should try to reformat the drive to see if that fixes the problem though.
If you need any of the files on the external drive you are going to have to use a utility such as Data Rescue 3 or something similar and then try to reformat the drive. If not, go ahead and click erase and try to reformat it and see if it works.
TouchDown, do those utilities such as Data Rescue 3 and Disk Warrior actually work? thanks for the help :)

Oh I would definitely advise you to switch to Earthlink. AOL is satan, I had to report them to the BBB because they refused to give me a refund when I cancelled service. Then, 3 months after I cancelled, they re-activated my account and started trying to draft money from my credit card. It was a big nightmare and my bank had to suspend AOL from charging me.
Earthlink is great because they are simple and don't BS you all the time. The only downside is they try to send you junk mail about their services, even when you don't want it. But I don't use their email, so it's not a problem.
Good luck!

The southpark mall in Charlotte NC opens at 6am and only one door opens at that time. So I am getting there around 5:30am. Maybe I'll get lucky and no one will show up that early :)
Make sure you give us updates on the line :) I will be there between 7-8am if AT&T screwed up my pre-order...

Thanks for the info, guys. I appreciate it.
Well I am considering the new MBPs too. Getting a PB would only be for curiosity, posterity, interest etc.

Hey,
Since the current MacPro is old tech with SATA 2, spending on a vertex 3 or intel 510 SSD is not an option :(
But if I buy a OCZ Revodrive x2 100 gb PCI Express card and place OSx and programs in that it will be even faster than the vertex 3 with SATA 3 support. But does the current MacPro work with SSD PCI express cards ?
Thx :)

Does anyone really use Illustrator CS to it's abilities to create vector artwork on the scale of photographic portraits?
My Illustrator class instructor does and one of our assignments was to do something of that depth. I'll try to dig up the website, if you're interested.
