What I'll never understand is why you believe some rag rumor, over the fundamentals of common sense. And you push it as if this most "controversial"
rumor is actually what's most likely to happen in the real world.
Or is generating traffic from buzz words all you really care about?
I'm not pushing any rumor.
- The rumor doesn't contradict loop insight's rumor, as was claimed.
- The site aggregates rumors and in the post we mention that the sourcing of the article is suspect, and that it may even be an April Fools joke.

It also seems like people aren't used to the fact that iTunes organizes your music files for you -- they want to go into each folder and name things themselves. SO DIFFICULT.

Also, I'm wondering how much they pay him, considering his statements of being paid well... ..i guess it is Apple...
I talked with Cut Chemist (new Nano ad music) at his Apple Store appearance a few weeks ago. He said that Apple paid him very little for the usage of his song but has been giving him tons of free gear.

Two different words.
How hard is it to write stuff correctly?
Here, you can cut and paste: Cond Nast.

Okay, I think we've lost it.
Vaughan should declare just to give the Aussies a false sense of security. I want to see some big hitting!!!
Maybe we will IF you can get KP out ;-) ..... then the big hitting can begin and we'll have a bash at skittling you out......
hahahahah as I speak KP hits Warne for another 6!

I was also disappointed like many of you. I was hoping for a preview on Leopard and the release of iWork & iLife '07.
I really don't care for the iPhone - at all. Yes, it's very nice, with nifty features and all, but nothing that I'm interested in to purchase.
And iTV, or ATV is another "meh" release, at least to me.
Build up so much hype for this...:(

Went and checked out the horseshoe lounge today. Those things are oh so sexy but were packed as hell.
Yeah, I didn't expect that we'd be able to all sit down there. But I don't remember there being many 'uncrowded' places in years past... so I guess we'll be stuck standing and mingling.

Any way to update and still have the phone keep tracking me everywhere. I like to stay updated but I do not want to lose that feature.

Ah....Damn....But Leopard will include iLife '07 right? I hope they also add iWork '07 as a freebie along with Leopard! I would love to start using iWork, but an imminent update is holding me back from my purchase.
IIRC, when the Tiger upgrade DVD came out, it didn't include iLife or iWork.

as money is a big issue here i would suggest the dual processor 2.3 as its well known the most reliable of all , dont ask why ,as i have no clue why , but it still will score 1966 @geekbench according every mac.com which is still a lot more then your current 502 score of you G4 867 (dont sell the G4 its always handy to have a backup computer ) and just ~400points behind my intel core duo iMac ,

Yeah, right. People doing summersaults over a white iphone and *I* need to grow up.
LOL!
Who is doing what? Your hatred for Apple is silly. They're just a CE company, good lord.
Do people really want a white iPhone that badly? Honestly I think the original black one is more attractive.
I prefer black.

If you have to ask, then the answer is probably no.

um....what didn't you understand? There was FUD about android being fragmeneted, yet two releases make up 90% of the install base. Ok, what stats would you like to deal from? otherwise stop running your jib when your obviously just regurgitating what you read here.
How does that disprove what he said? It's a pretty silly argument considering that Google is making news for a serious effort to reduce fragmentation.
And your statistics only apply to phones that access the Android Market. That cuts out millions of Android phones, particularly in China. The ones that don't use the Android market being the largest source of fragmentation.

The chip alone doesn't really distinguish the macbook from the macbook pro. In the wake of the first wave, the pro was upped in GHz just a bit so that no model was slower than a macbook, but for that period of time they use the same exact chip but were obviously not the same computer. The fact that the pro has better display real estate, a dedicated graphics card, the aluminum shell, 2 firewire ports, a slot for an express card, a double layer superdrive and now support for 3GB of RAM make a seriously big difference when compared to the macbook's hardware. simply adding C2D wont make it equal to the pro at all. also, how much more overhead does apple actually see compared to what they'd make if macbooks had core 2 duos in them?
I have to agree with the overhead argument. There is still plenty to distinguish between the two, even if they both have c2d. And more important than the differentiation in componentry of the two notebooks is the difference in price. Apple cannot maintain the current macbook price, given that (with similar components) the macbook can be more expensive than the new macbook pros. Without either a drop in price (which is not likely at this point) or an update, macbook sales will drop. In other words, something has to change relatively soon...

You can't be serious. Third fiddle to Microsoft, the same company that dropped 1.3% when the Verizon iPhone released? Google and Apple have the momentum and there's nothing anybody, except MAYBE Palm/HP, can do about it. :apple:
This is a fight Apple, literally, cannot win as long as they are the only company building iOS devices. They cannot compete with the number of companies making Android devices, and they cannot compete with the "push to the bottom" on price that competition has entailed.
And, truth be told, I think Apple is more than happy to bleed market share as long as they maintain a high level of profitability on each device sold. That was, and is, their business model with the MacOS. I see no reason to expect a change there.
