I agree an alarm/timer app would be nice. They should be able to do that with just an OS update.
That's the only thing it needs.
No alarm function because there is no speaker. As for the timer, try swiping left/right in the clock app ;)
My wife runs all the time with hers. She uses the Nike+ system along with some very pricey Sony bluetooth headphones with a remote builtin. I almost bought her a Nano because I know it most of the features she wants. However, the bluetooth headphones wouldn't work.
Any tips or should I just wait for the Sonys to day and see about a Nano then?
You can always get a Bluetooth headphone jack transmitter and pair that with a set of wireless Bluetooth earbuds/headphones. This addition goes for CHEAP on websites like eBay, Amazon, Google Shopping, etc., and it's an excellent alternative if you have a non-Bluetooth iPod

Not the right forum. There are other forums on here where your question could be answered. I'm sure the moderators will move it there, so don't worry about posting again.
As far as your question... I don't know of anything simple to use that could add text to a printed form.
You could try this. It's $60.

You couldn't come up with any answers by searching? This is a pretty common problem.
Someone asked it already this week and it's still on the 1st page of this forum.

I was thinking maybe if I tear apart the old monitor and fix the top part of the display in the receiver enclosure just above the latch that it might work.. or just some plain magnets.

The site you listed in your profile? I don't think a third grader could make that. Maybe a fourth grader, but definately not a third grader.;)
LOL - I had a friend that half-way built a gorgeous site, but had a sort of life change and ended up not being able to finish it. :o
It was really beautiful with a lof of interactive Flash elements.
Now I actually have to learn something, I guess.

Is anyone else experiencing annoying crashes and lock-ups in XCode 4? While debugging my multi-threaded apps (pthread, not GCD), I can navigate around in the paused state for about 45 seconds, after which I almost ALWAYS get a beach ball, XCode goes to 100% CPU utilization, and I have to force quit it. Occasionally, I'll get a SEGFAULT which the crash reporter tells me is an xcode GarbageCollection thread, and occasionally this lock-up will occur while I'm in the middle of typing inside a code window.
I tried re-running the XCode 4 installer, changing the debugger from GDB to LLDB and none of it seems to help. I never had these problems with XCode 3, and being that this is the first version of XCode I've actually had to pay for, I'm quite disappointed.

"When the App store is open for submissions, you will be able to download a tool to perform receipt validation"
what does it mean??
Currently i am getting a popup trying to download the receipt file. But not getting it downloaded.
I had not submitted the app yet to App store and had not completed the steps to perform (entries on the iTunes based on the application too).
ie, the further steps that are shown in this link
https://itunesconnect.apple.com/WebObjects/iTunesConnect.woa/wo/2.0.9.7.3.1.0.1
are also not completed

Based on the current rumors, iPad 3 should be out in September.
The iPad 3 is not going to happen this September. Picture taken by Engadget.com during Apple's March 2nd event.

Good point. Another thing to consider - they're pretty loud. Most dorky people like us don't care, but perhaps the OP has a significant other that might. ;)

Wolfram Alpha, the online computational knowledge engine that launched in May, now has an app available in the App Store. According to its App Store description, the app "plugs directly into Wolfram|Alpha's supercomputing cloud to deliver the unrivaled power of the Wolfram|Alpha knowledge engine to the mobile environment."
While the app still requires an internet connection to work, it includes a special keyboard to make the entry of special characters for mathematical and other functions easy. An early review (http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-19512_7-10377493-233.html?part=rss&tag=feed&subj=iPhoneAtlas) by CNET describes that the app makes all output, which are provided as GIF images even when the service is accessed through Safari, show well on the iPhone's screen and that queries can be bookmarked and published via Twitter.

The app's price is what garners quite a bit of attention - it costs $49.99 [App Store (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=334989259&mt=8)] while the Wolfram Alpha site is free to use when accessed through a web browser, including Safari on the iPhone, and is most likely targeted at power users who need frequent access to the service for complex computations.

I plan to take Friday off from Work , But Im gonna do my Homework and stop by the Apple Store Thursday Night and see how they plan to Launch this product.
My Plan of Attack is to wake up Early and Head over to the Apple Store and Check it out. If there's a line then I will join them.
Since the WiFi has already been released and plus you can order you iPad and have it delievered to your Front Door Step I Believe that the turn out will be smaller than Usually.
And Since I didn't Pre-Order it I wanna make sure I get so I will be ready early.
I was in line for the Original iPhone #10 in Line and about #150 for iPhone 3G on Launch Day.
My Only Question is How many people were in line for WiFi Launch and had Pre-Ordered it? Before they allowed the Purchase Line in?

Hi,
I'm trying to get a grip with who is using my osx server. Not that I think it is abused but there are some things I cannot clarify.
My understanding is that connections should be counted by "service", and the serveradmin/overview only gives a cryptical information of "connected users" and a number (in my case 2).
Then I look in serveradmin/access I see my users as well as 2 mysterious users called something like "474311CA-E4E0-4C2A-9E9F-xxxx".
So I googled "connected users" and the best detailed listing of connected users was using "serveradmin command afp:command = getConnectedUsers" in terminal.
But this is still confusing. Is there a way to find out
1. who is connected to what service
2. what those mysterious users are doing in the server

It works great. The first preview raped my air, but this second one seems to use system resources much much better.
If you have any worries about it, developer preview 2 runs great and much better than 1 if you had tried it out.
Right now I have Safari open and nothing else, system seems to idle just about where SL did.

Glad to see that your Lion problems are fixed. I'm still hoping they can make it faster than Snow Leopard before its release though.

If it is the AT&T version you should be able to just get a new sim card for a local carrier there.

I hope this is true. I have noticed that some movies have disappeared from the store.
I saw Waterboy was on there a while back and decided I would purchase it when I had some disposable funds. Last night I went on and Waterboy has disappeared along with another movie but I cant remember what it was called (t'was a war film).
Anyhoo... they really need some new content. The best film on the store in my opinion is Tombstone, which I already have.
