1-click orders on Amazon can be changed for an hour or so, and returned officially. I had this happen to me too... I was reading the app description and accidentally swiped against buy. I got a refund, and a warning that Apple was making an exception and to be more careful :(

I think amazon should use a better compression format, but at nearly half the price the same song on iTunes, apple has a tough sell.

I just bought myself 2 early Christmas gifts, a Wacom (first real graphics tablet I've had) and an iPod Touch (first iOS device I've ever had!).
Figured I could do with both for work and could do with the Wacom to draw out cards for this year.
But for the day itself I know I'm getting the X-Files boxset and a couple of rare PSP games.
Everyone else is getting the same - DVDs and games.

well since i bought my christmas gift early (my ps3)!! well i was thinking to get one of the MIDI Keyboard Controller (M-Audio Oxygen 49 Key's) and Logic Express 9:apple: since i'm going travelling alot for the holiday seasons i need to play some music too and my current keyboard is way too big

Sad thing is the developer is now going to be charged $300 (Apple requires the developer to reimburse the user Apple's commission).
That is not true at all. When an app is refunded basically all parties are nullified, so developer loses the sale and apple lose the commission. The developer does not lose out 'further'. This was discussed in length on quite a few occasions here.

The show hasn't been officially cancelled. Before today, they shut down production for the last 8 episodes for this season. Today, they fired Sheen and said they are unsure if the show will go on. Knowing Hollywood, they'll go on with a replacement. Oddly, Sheen replaced Michael J. Fox on his show when Fox quit and it went on for another 2 or 3 seasons.They can hire Ted McGinley.

Why did you buy XCode, all you needed to have done was go to developers.apple.com and sign up for a free Dev account, once there, just download the older version of XCode (v3.2.5) and install. The older version works fine and will enable the Gestures, you only need to buy and download the newest version of XCode if your an actual Developer, then you would want to have the latest version for developing purposes.

I'm sure in years to come, something like an iPhone will be that thin, or even thinner, but I don't believe that by 2012 we'll have the tech to actually do it.
Not till they can pack virtually all the circuity onto a few thin chips on one circuit board, and also switch away from a thick IPS screen which has a backlight and many layers to something like a Super AMOLED screen which is much thinner.

Yes. Usually from the time the launch day is announced to a month or two after it ships. In the past there has been a $10-20 media charge but if 10.7 ships via the app store I guess it will be free or some nominal amount like $1 to satisfy any accounting rules.

On the other hand, on the GPU side, you have a 80/100 (which is what the NVIDIA 320m is) and we see a 30% performance drop, that will result to a 42.5/100.Wrong math. 30% of 80/100 is 24/100 so you end up with 56/100, not 42.5/100.
I see the current MBA owners make every effort to praise their machine and brand the next one useless. For the casual user the c2d MBA and SB MBA will be absolutely identical. Neither the faster CPU нор the slower GPU will make your web browsing any faster/slower, document editing will be the same. Still the MBA will be your travel companion. Picking a MBA to be the one and only computer in a home environment is kinda ridiculous - for less amount of money one can get an iMac which is far more convenient with its larger screen - for gaming, videos or whatever. Besides, it is very portable, too, i move mine in my home all the time.
