It takes a while before the system recognises you have more than 250 posts, so just wait some hours, as you have made your 250th post less eight minutes ago.
A look at the FAQs would have answered your question:
Forgot the FAQ link: http://guides.macrumors.com/Help:MacRumors_FAQ#I_can.27t_post
thanks for that, I was reading the rules page but I didn't see this.

Do you guys recommend getting the car kit mounting bracket for iphone 4 for in-car use and hands-free?
I don't take phone calls in the car (in fact no ones calls me :( ) but, for GPS, I just reply on voice guidance, my iphone is in leather pouch.
Would an car kit be better ? and what would be the norm ? charging while driving or not?
Also, i've seen a separate TomTom car kit app but no idea what this one is for..

If you are leaving it connected to the Time Capsule, then you should not have to install any HFS+ drivers. You should be able to turn on Windows sharing and see it over the network as an SMB/CIFS share.
If you can already see the internal drive in your network you have Windows sharing turned on, otherwise use Airport Utility to turn it on first.
B
good point.
i last booted up my windoze machine many moons ago. i wasn't sure if the fact that i always could see the TC's drive (or the USB drive hanging off my extreme) was due to having MacDrive installed or not.

I dont even know what to do anymore. I have tried everything the internet has said. No fix. The screen doesnt even flicker. It works fine on OSX. I don't get why this is happening.

And I was wondering if anyone else has one going and what sort of results they're getting.
I already have two other machines going (although right now, just one since I'm rendering on the other) and I'm curious to see how the dual 1.25 GHz G4 compares to my wife's new iMac...

Thanks for responding so quickly, belvdr.
I am (vaguely) familiar with the OSI stack, but is there no way to differentiate on level 3/4 then, e.g. IP addresses and routes?
Put differently, what is the actual impact of unchecking the "Send all traffic over VPN connection"? With reference to for instance
http://blog.liip.ch/archive/2006/01/07/changing-default-routes-on-os-x-on-vpn.html
it seems that if the VPN service is below the Ethernet service in the ordered list in Network, the default route is not through the VPN connection. Does this not mean that I should be able to add a new route, include the IP ranges which Boxee, Hulu and Vudu access, and then have de facto differentiation between applications (although it actually happens on level 3/4)?
Looking forward to your response. I am definitely on thin ice here.

If you're in a dorm for the love of Jobs don't get a Mini. If you live with the parentals or with only yourself, the Mini is great if you already plan on having an iPad.
Though, since you don't have a screen, keyboard, or mouse, it may be better to just fork over the extra cash for an iMac.

I have that exact speaker system and I can testify that it's awesome. For the price the sound you get is great, it has a clock (with alarm!), a remote, and it gets LOUD without a lot of distortion.
I've used it with batteries (it uses AAs I believe) but I don't really recommend it because it kinda eats em up.
I definitely recommend it if you're looking for some travel speakers. I use it more than my Bose Sounddock now because of the alarm/clock functionality.

$179, including shipping.
Not bad, especially since you aren't shipping it off until your 3G is in your hand!

A thought, that is a carrier setting it asks for sometime. If it was interrupted in asking for that with a bad signal it wont give you the option?

Hello everyone,
It's my first visit to the forum having unsuccessfully searched various freelance sites looking for a Mac programmer. I was hoping someone could help me build some simple software for OSX?
Looking for a software that will:
1) Search and return 150 related articles each from ezinearticles.com, goarticles.net, articlesbase.com, articlecity.com from given keyword/s
2) Randomise and shuffle collected articles/text into format:
Title from Random Article 1
First 2 paragraphs from Random Article 1

Title from Random Article 2

Title from Random Article 4

Title from Random Article 5
First 2 paragraphs from Random Article 5
All collected articles to be made in random spun format.
Output articles saved in folder with individual .txt files named article1,article2, article3, article4, article5, etc.
Can someone help with this?

Startup company Ntractive (http://www.ntractive.com/) gave attendees of Macworld San Francisco a glimpse at its upcoming product Elements SBM.
Elements SBM tackles an old problem (small business management) in a new and rather innovative way: by creating a hybrid desktop/web application. The result promises to be a solution that gives users the accessibility of web applications with the power, look, and feel of a desktop application. Features planed for 1.0 (http://www.ntractive.com/site/features/) will include an administrative interface, home screen, calendar, email, in/out, contacts, notes, sales, service, marketing, developer, projects, internet, images, and document modules.
The first installment of Elements SBM will be for Mac OS X, and will feature integration with iChat, Address Book, iPhoto, the Dock, and will support Drag and Drop, amongst others. However, because the application is built utilizing WebKit, versions for the iPhone and Windows are also in the pipeline.
Ntractive says that it already has over 550 companies signed up for a beta coming this Spring.

Is it smart buying a new Mac RAID card to have RAID 5 in a new MP w/4x3TB drives and NEC 27" display if I am doing video editing, today, or save the $ on the MP, and card, and use (instead) either an iMac with eSATA card rigged for external RAID or a MacBook Pro w/Thunderbolt somehow connected to what doesn't exist until summer? Or, should I wait for iMac refresh??? I need machine ASAP, but suppose I could get quad interface and suffer w/FW8 until TB comes online. What to do? Any ideas?

As a toy collector, I would like to point out that that is not an action figure - it is a statue, note the lack of joints :p.
That said this is a bit of a non-story, company makes unauthorised likeness of someone, that person finds out about it and asks them to stop, they do.
Personally I think that the action figure/statue should be made available for sale.

Thoughts and inputs between these two.
The con of SGP is that it has rubber around the edges and I was wondering if slipping it in and out of your pocket is a hassle?
the pros is that SGP supplies me with 2 screen protectors and i've heard they make some of the best ones out there.
ALSO: is the matte series rubber easy to slip in and out of my pocket?
The pinlo is aluminum/plastic and seems it will slip in and out of my pocket no problem.
It does come with screen protectors, but idk if they're the same quality as SGP.
