Hello all! I just finished tweaking and building a Wordpress theme on my home computer and am looking to transfer it to my client's Godaddy's () account. I am aware of Godaddy's in house Wordpress install Application and successfully installed 3.1:
How should I go about transferring my home brewed Wordpress site to the standard 3.1 base version currently residing on the server?
rant: Godaddy's interface is ****ing AWFUL!!!!
Thanks in advance for the help and attention. -Hugo:cool:

Holy crap so im walking to my friends house one day, and im bringing zelda and redsteel so we can play on his wii, and then i see him watching "Flags Of Our Fathers" without a DVD player and its on his Wii. I ask him, "How are you doing this?" He pauses it, presses "eject" and the DVD comes out, and he told me his dad did something with it. It was freakin awesome.
If any of you know how to do this, tell me NOW.

I spoke to one of my dealers today and they offered me two demo 20" ACDs for c250$ less than the 23".
I do hobby video and photos with no chance of going pro. The two things that bug me about the two displays are 1. the "gap", especially when watching DVDs (can I?) and 2. I loose c150pixels in height vs the 23", important for portrait mode, or is 150 something I should get over??!!
Thanks - you've steered me right so far, guys! :)
Hmm. Good question.
I bought a 20" dell 2005FPW about a year ago.. yeh it was a great price and yeh I wanted a big screen... but I'm kicking myself now that I didn't spring for the 24". The 20" is a bit small.... but two, you'd have to make the call.
I hate the gap created by dual screens. If it were me, I'd go for the 23", but I'm picky. I think the two 20" makes more cost effective sense, but screw it... go for the 23" and you won't rerget buying the small screens later.
We're talking $1200 price range for two 20"?
:)

What I'd REALLY like is Movies and TV Shows to be worldwide
Don't hold your breath. The MPAA is even worse than the RIAA, and the iTMS still isn't worldwide.

From what I've read, I don't honestly think it can be done (at least on a Mac). Or at least not without going through a lot of work, and even then. Your best bet is to just back up and important files on the Windows partition and then delete it to start from scratch.
EDIT: Okay, looks like there may be a way after all. Check the guide here. (http://guides.macrumors.com/Extend/Resize_Boot_Camp_Partition) You might have to buy some software to do it though. And there is the chance the data on the partition will become corrupt from doing it, so you might end up having to reformat the partition anyway.

Sorry I actually know what a MIP is I meant to ask what MPI is.
MPI = Message Passing Interface. It's used for cluster computing. Since it depends on sending messages between different processes over TCP/IP, it's susceptible to network changes. Since users are more likely to just install different clients on their different computers instead of using one to distribute work to other local computers, the multi-threading approach is the better approach at the client side. Communicating between multiple threads is also generally more efficient than trying to communicate between processes... with TCP/IP.

the biggest factor is your clock speed for shaving off time on each step of the WU. if you are not doing CPU intensive tasks the time for each step should remain pretty constant. say each step requires an average of 16 minutes you could multiply that by 100 for the steps and get 1600 minutes. thats 26 hours if running 24/7. the deadline is like 3 or 4 days so you could take some breaks in between there and get it done. say each step is 20 minutes then your looking at 33 hours etc
so yeah if you take small breaks no prob, but if you leave it off for a day or more you may be cutting it close.
You're definitely haulin' on the stats, what kinda rig are you running?

Back up her black iPhone. Then set up the new white one from that backup. Aside from music and videos, the white one will be exactly as the black one was. Including the text message threads.
Is backing up any different than syncing?
Pardon my ignorance - I went from an ipod nano 4th generation household to a 2 iPod touches - 1 iPad 2 - 2 iPhone 4 - 1 macbook pro 2011 13.3 in 4 months...
The iPod touch IS a gateway drug.

Yes, I have verified the disk. How do I keep my old data? Is that an option during the install?

Wunderlist. Syncs to all your devices. Easy to use. Free.
This. So simple to be able to manage tasks on my iMac and have them wirelessly synced to my iPhone and iPad. You can also add tasks via email but I've never bothered to learn how.

Hi,
I'm running 3.2.2 JB and wanted to upgrade to 4.2.1, which I downloaded. I try to install and I get the "This device isn't eligible for the requested build". Then I try to restore and use the 4.2.1, and I get the same message. Is there anything I can do to updated, but not get the 4.3? I still want to JB.
Thanks!

Yep, IE6 Win, which isn't so bad to make a design compatible, but you've got to avoid ordered lists with padding, explicitly set paddings and margins to 0 for inline text (mainly in lists), then tinker with the design for hours...It looks like IE7 won't be much better, but I'm just hoping it doesn't mess the CSS up any worse.
I hope Firefox use keeps on increasing-the new beta is great; it added mouse wheel support for scrollable divs, which IE has had for awhile. I installed NS4 just for the heck of it, and I was amazed at how poorly it supports CSS. I'm starting to use the @import method to hide it though...
I agree, I have been using the new Firefox beta and like it, it seems to load pages faster than the version 1.0.6 and seems to be pretty stable. I also hope that IE7 addresses some of the bugs in IE6, what I have read so far is encouraging, we will have to wait and see. CSS implementation should also be better in IE7, I hope.

I work in IT support and we are currently planning to deploy a few macs to our design unit. I would like to prevent them from using iPods and iPhones on their work PCs since we would like to hold them to the same standards that we have for windows PC users.
Is there a way to configure the macs so that ipods and iphones are not recognized in iTunes?
Thanks
