Hi, is there a utility or terminal command that allows you to see the lookup/info about a user on your network? Thanks

If you don't have the Track Number column selected, having the arrow point upwards on the Artist tab will have the same effect.

I have unistalled and downloaded again to no avail. I click open but nothing opens up. Am I just doing this wrong?
thanks
Install it, then look up on the menu bar ...
Set your preferences, i.e., start on login etc., or make a set of settings with different fan speeds.

Exactly though. No one is clamouring for Olympic games...and by their own admission aren't playing the ones that have come out recently. But an olympic game with Sonic and Mario in it...that must be better? Just because Sonic and Mario are both in it (if this isn't another April Fool's - right around the corner folks) doesn't mean the development teams will really fully represent both parties. And which Sonic team will it be? The folks that did a 3d Sonic? Which Mario team or Nintendo team? The folks that did Sunshine? What engine is the game running on? Who are the major players? Quote me some real, hard facts about developers, teams, producers, etc to show that this is a done deal before we've even seen gameplay vids.
I'm all for fun games and have liked Olympic games in the past. Remember one that had arm wrestling in it for the NES with mad button tapping action. But how are these folks so infallible (particularly the Sega folks if they are indeed on board) that you can proclaim it great news with so little info?

Hi Guys,
I see from everywhere on the net that the world still awaits for a carrier unlock on the bb 4.10.01 and understand that my iPhone 4 is doomed just because it is now with 4.3.2 and non-d'gradable due to Apple not signing the 4.3.1, etc.
Does anyone know when to expect for a workaround to the "no service" issue considering the fact that bb 4.10.01 is still unlockable!!!
Thanks,
:apple:man1ac:apple:

No unfortunately you can only send text messages to phones of the same collor. You may want to jailbreak it and see if there is a cydia app that will allow for this:o
Uhh, just kidding, you just send the text to her phone number.... Sheesh...

It's not a JRPG. But it's much more like what a "real" RPG would be like. You assume the character and play whatever ever role you decide... you don't play as a pre-existing character that never (or rarely) talks... or who has a mind of his/her own. The character is supposed to be you, not just someone else you are controlling.

We should build a folding screen saver. Not like the one from Stanford, but one that shows your current WU progress, along with your team and your personal stats. That would be very cool. As when my computer goes to sleep, I could see how I am doing. :D I am not sure who would have the know how to do this. I will look into it, but i have never made a screen savor. I know very little about it.

Anything is possible, depending on how much work you want to put into realizing it. Start by reading the NSWindow doc, paying especial attention to the method -initWithContentRect:styleMask:backing:defer: which, by setting the style mask, lets you create a window with no frame or titlebar. You would then have to add a view to handle the titlebar of your own design (with close/minimize/zoom buttons either taken from the system image set or drawn by your own code). You would have to write simple methods to handle clicks in your custom titlebar and its buttons, and also resizing if you need that.
You will also have to use -setOpaque: to make the entire window frame transparent (your other views will not be affected by this unless you give them a transparent background). If you have open areas in your frame that reveal other windows, you might have to figure out how to pass clicks in those areas through to the underlying windows.

I'm having trouble deciding between a higher end 15-inch MBP or an 11" MBA with a gaming PC.
If I were to go with the combo, would an iBUYPOWER Gamer Power 567D3 in the 500 dollar price range be a good desktop for present and future gaming, or would the CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra 2057's specs provide future proofing as well as justify the ~$900 price? (mainly the HD 5570 vs the 5770 and 4GB vs 8GB RAM)
If there are any other gaming PC's you have used, feel free to tell me what the best ones are!
By the looks of it, those are some ridiculously weak GPU's when compared to current generation GPU's in the MBP (AMD HD 6000 series opposed to ATI HD 5000 series)
I recommend 15" high end w/ hi-res screen, if you can afford it.
None of the specs justify either desktop's price. Here's the specs for the PC listed below that you can build yourself:
Intel Core i5-2500K Quad Core 3.3Ghz, 8GB RAM, nVidia GTX 560, Blu-ray capable, 1TB Hard Drive, $1100. Shoots both of those PCs out of the water blindfolded.
If not, get the 11" MBA. DO NOT GET A PREMADE gaming PC. Build one yourself, it's often cheaper. Here's a list of items to get you started:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072 Intel i5-2500K. Don't get the i7-2600K, not much improvement for $100.

Total cost w/ rebate @ Newegg discounts: $1100-1200. I know it's not cheap, but that's much cheaper for a machine of that caliber, which usually go for $2000-2500. If you want it cheaper, go with a weaker GPU (Such as the GTX 550) or get a DVD drive.

I have a folder under my username called Movies where I store all of those. To delete the redundant formats, you'll have to locate them through Finder and manually delete them.Thank you very much, that helped a lot. :)

I think the reasoning behind this is that the RAW importer has some settings that are individual to each Camera, rather than just being something that can import a certain file format. So officially to get the best results Apple needs to tune the importer to each camera.
Still it would be nice if they just supported the "unsupported" cameras with some default settings.
Why couldn't the camera-specific details live on a central website that the software drivers could pick up "live" when needed, and cache for later, so we wouldn't keep having to pick up these updates to keep up?

Hi,
I've always wanted to get into DJ'ing but never had the time, but now that I do I have downloaded a few software demos and bought the equipment I need.
I know that to have the ability to cue tracks whilst keeping the other mix coming out the speakers I needed another soundcard....
So I bough a cheap and cheerful one off amazon.
This is hard to explain so please bare with me.
My problem is when I aggregate the soundcards (mac's own and this other one) together inorder for Traktor to recognaise them ( I end up with a 3in 4 out combo), a problem develops....unlike in other software (mixxx and VDJ) where you can just state that you have to sound cards and then assign to outputs to monitor and 2 to speakers; traktor gets confused and plays the mix through both speakers and headphones, and when I press the button on the controller for the deck i want to hear through the headphones I hear the entire mix plus the mix I want slightly louder. This is kind of defeating the the purpose of the headphones
I think the problem lies in the Audio MIDI set up utility with clock selection and resample boxes needing ticked or something....but I am far too much of a noob at that.
Please help me work out how to get the MIx played through my speakers and only the deck I want to monitor being played through the headphones
- It is neither the soundcards fault or the headphones as this works fine in Virtual DJ and Mixxx.
thanks!

I think it should come back. I played with the new nano, and while it's pretty cool, that's just not big enough for a touch screen. It's pretty awkward to navigate, isn't super intuitive, and scrolling through a list of artists sucks. Whereas, the click wheel made for fast and intuitive navigation, while being more comfortable to hold, and you could even watch video on it.

i seen even better adverts , someone placed a included snow leopard disc in the picture of his listing for a iBook g4 and sold it for about 380
the add sounded like
"MacBook g4 bought weeks ago, but i cannot handle Mac so selling again installed leopard but snow leopard disc included ...happy bidding if you got questions dont ask me "
and its true these ads are for people who know nothing about computers and even less about Mac's , and many want a Mac laptop now , mainly people who switched recently and bought a imac or mini new and now want a laptop from apple too, but cant afford a MacBookPro new from apple and everything that looks similar to the MacBook and has a apple logo is a MacBook in their eyes if its running OSX
when i sold my hackintoshed netbook and i clearly stated it as MSI WIND U100 i still got questions if thats a new release from apple
ok i have to admit if you squint hard enough you could mistake it for a small MacBook , but you really have to squint hard ,but the windows logos on the keyboard should give a hint too that its clearly not made by apple or?

Colors are awesome, Really noisy though.. I'm not a professional photographer but *I think* if you lowered your ISO and increased your Aperture that would help fix it?
I'm probably wrong so don't think I'm acting as a know it all, I'm just suggesting what I think might help.
Otherwise, Great angle and really cool shot anyway!
Maybe his lens wont go any wider? adjusting the aperture would also alter the depth of field!
Nice shot! :) Wel composed! :)

1. It's a 'Blue and White' and Crucial says it takes PC133
2. There's tools for OS X that will do this (e.g. superduper) but I don't know about OS9. I guess there must be. Some macs (I think including yours) don;t support hard drives any bigger than 127GB. So don't bother buying a drive bigger than that.
3. Some do some don't. What specifically are you worried about?
4. Not all. Again I've never used OS9 but in OSX Broadcom wireless-G PCI adapters are supported. You need to check the chipsets on the PCI card.
You could upgrade that machine to a 1GHz G4 with an upgrade card if you wanted. Would be about $350.

hello all,
Thanks a lot for your valuable information. There was redsnow installed on this phone before, So I uninstalled it. and still the att signal appears. it is running
4.0.2
with 01.59.00 baseband reflecting MC605IP model number.
are you sure All italy Iphones are unlocked? it was supposed to be on vodaphone.
Thanks a lot.
PS: for the person with 03. firmware, I wouldnt really recommend you getting a gevey or turbo sim, My friend has one and its a real pain in the butt. It wouldnt work 100% accurately. just wait for the unlock from Dev team, the unlock would definietly arrive when ios5 hits. which is in 2 months. So keep your fingers crossed
