I'm sure the movie version is in the works...screenplay by Aaron Sorkin ("Social Network"), not sure who will play jobs, but the Woz MUST be played by Zack Galafinakas!!

Well not too excited if it is like what it is described. Nothing sensational.
On the other hand, this could be achieved through MobileMe, easily. Just created apple script to copy data whenever new data is added. :|
OR Dropbox OR amazon disk. :|
I hope Apple does something different.

True, but Portal 2 is released for both MacOSX and Windows. :|
:) I bought it for Windows as such. No question, Window's allows the BEST gaming experience...both in hardware support, and W7:DX11 > OSX:OpenGL
My real beef is that Apple doesnt compliment its wonderfully built machines with capable GPU's. I mean, a 5750 as the best graphics option in the otherwise superb (might I add expensive) 27inch iMac? Total Fail. Im not looking for them to kick PWR consumption totally, but they could easily facilitate something as powerful as a 560ti or dare I say a 6850.

For example: the video and audio packed together, but I expect something like a J or L-cut will still be possible in an easy way. But how? Let's wait...
You haven't seen the video of the super meet? You have to see it. IMO the whole timeline is getting set for a touch interface. Just imagine fcp x on your screen in front of you and the timeline on your iPad.

Nope, your device is no longer supported by apple.
That's not a good argument. You forget that this is not a feature. It's a matter of privacy and how iOS uses your data.
So, to me, Apple must give a fix to 3G users too. They can send iPhone 3G users a 4.2.2 for example.

I need to get myself one of those blenders. Especially the 2350 Watt, 20 Amp model. :p
you might get mad or even pissed just by watching that, you might also think what a waste, but look it this way.. an ipad 500 bucks+ the guys salary.. i dunno? 300 maximum for doing this?, then the cameras man and editing, another 300 for each guy, so thats about 1500.. youtube is free and a lot of people have watched the publicity, i think that its actually working for them this way lol
The guy in the video is the founder of Blendtec (the company that makes the blender) ;)

I almost find it more likely that an oled keyset, similar to this would be stuck in (http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/) a mac before a entirely touchpad interface, but then again, I'm not an apple exec.
That would be cool. What would make it cooler is intead of having individual keys, have it be one giant touchscreen like a Ninitendo DS or (even better) like they have on Star Trek.
Something else that would be cool would be a braille keyboard. I'm not blind, but this could really help for those people who are. Heck, there probably is one already. That added w/ Mac OS X's Voiceover technology would really help! And if someone somehow created a braille keyboard that changes like the OLED keyboard, that would be even better!

I like the title! I am fortunate (or unfortunate depending on how you see it ) of actually having the name Job. I remember when I bought my first mac many moons ago and actually thinking that his name was pronounced the same as mine except for the "s" at the end. :p

I sort of doubt it. I think they realize that the Keynote pulls in a lot of higher priced admission tickets. ;) Looking briefly at the different tickets here (http://macworldexpo.com/live/20/register), it seems like the cheapest ticket to see the Keynote runs ~$215 ("Users Conference").

There should be. However not left as vague things and they have to be used or lost. Why patent something if you have no intent of developing? It hinders progress.
Not everyone can afford to develop something. That doesn't mean their idea is worthless and they shouldn't patent it. OTOH, there are only so many ways of doing certain things and being able to patent "3 finger gestures" is flipping ridiculous, IMO. In fact, I think most software patents are ridiculous in that they just abstract ideas without any specific way to achieve them. Programming should mostly fall under copyright, not patents, IMO. Smart phone layouts patentable? UGH. You might as well just let someone patent a suit and tie.... It's ridiculous anymore. Small businesses generally don't stand a chance under litigation even when they're right because the big guy can drive them out of business with legal fees. The whole system sucks.

Some parts of Microsoft's products are proprietary so cannot be used by anyone else. Also people working for companies that have a majority of Microsoft based systems in use (i.e. nearly all of them) find it easier to interact with everyone else if they are using the same software. I for one am happy with Office 2011 - it enables me to work for most of my clients without having to use my Windows 7 bootcamp.
noted, but not happy!

so I'm sure this has been addressed or mentioned, but is the "viewer" window just out all together???
More like they merged the viewer to also act as your media bin. We haven't been shown enough effects yet to really see what role the new viewer will play in adjusting/managing that aspect of it. It looks like most of the "basic Motion" controls are being handled in the Canvas with simple location sensitive mouse controls, for better or worse.

"I think and hope that people are going to understand. There is as price for being an early adopter and your points and feelings are valid (Penello said when referring to gamers IGN suggested would be angry about the new system). But whenever you innovate and change, you have to face this situation. Your same old system is still perfectly valid."
"We could never have done this before, to bring HMDI and 120 GB to the system when we launched in 2005. The reason we didn't do it before was because the HDMI standard wasn't complete. It takes time to develop these things. We started the console earlier than Sony did and when the HDMI standard wasn't done. At the time we were developing, this stuff was in transition."
******* off you couldn't have in HDMI in 2005. MS really irks me with this move. I wanted a god damn HDMI port....
I agree. There was already PLENTY of TVs with HDMI connectors in 2005! THE ORIGINAL HDMI SPEC was back in 2002!!!
Is it just me, or does Microsoft think that us consumers are stupid? Obviously they don't care about the current 360 owners. I can already feel the anger that you guys have...As for me, I'm actually pissed off for you guys. I mean, I've waited all this time to get one, and now I can get an Elite model. But, that means that people who have gotten a 360 a year before...Man... :(
More options to piss of the current customers eh?

This just in: orders will ship in the order they were received despite the 4-5 vs. 3-4 week estimates. Meaning, if you ordered an iPad 2 yesterday & received a 4-5 week ship estimate, you will get yours before someone who just now ordered one and received a 3-4 week estimate.
This also just in: estimates are not exact.
Wait wait, but it says estimate, why wouldn't that be exact.
Why are people so stupid? Why would anyone think that an order placed today would ship before one placed 2 weeks ago. Really, soooo stupid!

And you must be totally void of imagination and creative intelligence. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why you hate apple.
Let me guess your an engineer type - who loves specs and rarely has a unique thought of your own.

As so many other posters, the fact is that you have no idea what transpired. The driver is prima facie guilty of attempted murder. Nothing more needs to be said. I do not understand the number of otherwise reasonable people here who are blaming the victim.
Yes you are right, the husband is obviously guilty of attempted murder. I'm just saying that in this case the guy should be let go. Call me a monster who believes in eugenics, but people who are stupid pollute the gene pool don't deserve to exist. Someone who throws themselves on a car is, to use your termonology, prima facie guilty of being an idiot; and therefore does not deserve to exist and pollute the gene pool (in my belief system at least).

"This is a live preview. Yay leopard! It's the best thing ever. It's better that you! Thats the apple way!" wow! :p
Nice! That is awesome Apple, way to go. Another one of those features that make computing a whole lot easier and way more fun.

Internet data usage is increasing and internet data caps are decreasing. This doesn't seem good...
I agree. I'm not interested in using what little bandwidth the phone company gives me to play music I could just transfer to my phone from my computer.
I hope it's more than that.
