I guess they wanted to inconvenience them millions of subscribers just to delay the small minority of AT&T customers willing to jump ship
Its more likely an unscheduled outage, or problem with their system
I would go with the unscheduled outage. Could they had normal maintenance plan so there was reduced servers to handle the load at the time and then the ones that were online got over loaded. You see maintenance at around that after midnight when the normal drops.
People buying the Verizon iPhone were logging in to check stuff like you pushed the web stuff beyond what they had the power to handle at the time.

We pay $45 monthly for 15down/10up.
It'll be around that for everything.

That works so well! And I see there are "options" you can add with PayPal. Great! I hope my friend goes for the "per transaction" cost thing... she might be worried about that and would feel more comfortable with a flat monthly fee, I'm not sure...
Anyone else have experience with this system?

I don't have the iPod photo but have 2 iPods, should say my wife has one I have the other. You can decided how iTunes syncs by either saying that all playlist and or library sync or that you freely add and subtract as you wish. I have ours set to sync only our purchased music playlist and another playlist that I add to she also has her own.
I also have the media card reader, works great. Once the photos are transferred you simply attach you iPod to the Mac and iPhoto, if not open, will open up and prompt you to the import option, just like a camera.
From what I have seen, the sync iPhoto pictures works the same as iTunes, you pic what you want to sync.
Hope you get it, I know that I am looking at getting the 40GB color soon.

Don't assume we can read your mind.
The details of how you pull the accelerometer data out, cast it and stuff it in storeArrayay be where the problem lies.
As the last post shows you need to give us more context. How is storeArray declared?

You will be constrained by the through-put of USB with an external drive VM.
That said, you could put a VM instance on an external drive and run it from there.
Alternately just store the VM on the external, and move it to the SSD when you need it.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate on a 9 gig VM using 512K of memory...so you may not need as much SSD space as you think.
Of course, gaming will change this pretty fast.

I tried using iCal when I first switched over in '06. I integrated my Google calendar with it, but stopped using it because I often access my calendar in places other than my home computer. So I stuck with Google calendar and its "cloud" capabilities.
I know I can get MobileMe to access my iCal anywhere, but I rather not pay for a service when there's free (though shoddy like google cal) alternatives out there.
Two words for ya... Mobile Me. Sign up for the sixty day free trial, rumor has it that it's going to be free May 18 th or so. I use it for everything. Wednesday I left my company laptop at home, wasn't a big deal. All of my email accounts go through it, plus iDisk, iCal, and my address book were all accessible from another computer. I love how my iPad, iMac, and Winders laptop all stay in sync (to include bookmarks) effortlessly. Even if you don't get it free, retailers sell it at a discount.

I've got T-Mobile, have had them since I got my old Sidekick II. I now have the Sidekick 3. I love the Sidekick but I was disappointed with the Bluetooth support in Sidekick 3. Doesn't let you sync with Address Book. Nor do they allow you to "hop on" to the EDGE network via Bluetooth to your BT-enabled Mac.
I'm hoping they do a firmware update to change this along with iSync support for Sidekick and PPP over BT. That'd be awesome.
T-Mobile is the only real provider that makes sense for deaf people, since they have plans that do unlimited text and data for only $30 a month, without voice plan.

I looked at the Bluetake 500 that you have McGarry...looks pretty good...how much?
I got it at a local store for $50. But I have seen it online for as low as $38-40, plus shipping maybe. I found the best prices on CNET's comparison tool.
eCost (www.ecost.com/ecost/shop/detail.asp?dpno=493694) seems to have them on some sort of promotion that appears to bring the price closer to $30. I say "seems" and "appears" because it involves some sort of savings club membership. Apparently free shipping too. I've never bought from them.

The Intuos is far more advanced than the Graphire. I have a Graphire and I have a Bamboo; both are great, but the Intuos is more advanced than either of them. If I were you, I would get the Intuos.

The pixel sleeve completely covers the air. It's not to tight but a good fit. I would recommend. The lining is really soft micro fibre kind of thing. It also has no zip so no chance of scratching the mba!

What Mac do you have? And how does it have Bluetooth (i.e. internal, USB dongle, etc.)?
