Would that be possibly that Apple is trying to patent as many as possible user interface/method so that no one can get anything closer to the REAL video iPod?
I work for a multi-national company on one of their product and development teams, and we patent pretty much every single idea we come up with, and the majority of them are merely to protect the actual idea. I would think that Apple is just protecting themselves, since they have had touch screen patents out long before this one was even filed. All of you that still was the click wheel on the screen, there is still a large chance.

Actually, that is a real stand less the speakers.
Expensive but stylish

Many users have the same problem, me too !
I have the new MBP 15.4 2.0 GHz and i have the same issues when i connect it to my iMac 27 " !
I cant find a solution ...
REally.. I didn't see much post about them.
I am really thinking of taking this mbp to apple store.. For over 2k, this is not good. My $500 pc laptop is working fine w/ the external monitor which I really need to get some serious work done at home.

I have a 15GB iPod for windows and I am trying to convert AAC files (which are on my iPod) to MP3 files so I can transfer them on to my computer. Is there a way to do this with windows.

For those that get there early, keep us updated on the lines and stock!

I think this is what the CDMA iPhone is for and less likely VZW...
I said this same thing several threads back about the subject. I'm inclined to believe the same. If Verizon got a CMDA iPhone, it would be incidental to a China CDMA phone. Depending on the success in the market and the device tolerance, then a consideration would be given to the US market. Probably more than a year away at least and by that time Verizon is going to have much larger LTE adoption. We will see but I certainly think that if any CDMA phone is being made, it's for China.

You have to remember even Powerbooks have PRAM batteries...could this test be for the PRAM battery in addition to the regular battery?

Well, you're ambitious, I'll give you that :D
As mentioned above, why not try and create a simple web page, see how that goes and how well you take it in (try HTML and CSS to start with). Then decide if it's feasible to take on a project of that scope yourself, or whether it will work out more cost and time effective to hire someone.
Personally, I think it would take you 3-6 months to do it (finger in air guess) from scratch.

I didn't realise that you could make nice looking sites with iWeb. Especially as your first site - its awesome.
Based on me not understanding a word. Advice would be, maybe make it a bit clearer that you have to click the image to access the site, try and loose the Apple logo at the bottom - I think it looks at bit unprofessional. But apart from that its pretty good.

I agree with videocave. I use the iPhone, universal and AppleTV presets and they work great...NO ARtifacting or blocking.
Can I ask why you are creating you're own setting?

VPC for the PowerPC was a sluggish piece. M$, if they can't steal it, they buy it or they GIVE UP. They do not have one person working at M$ that can develope technology.

I like the new design (but now the forum pages look outdated).
It's funny because I've been popping over here off and on for the past few hours in my surfing and just now the new design came up.
The first thing I was gonna ask was what the big empty space at the top of the first page was... then I remembered.
