Apple has done something VERY important with the iPod. They made it cool, especially among teens thru college-aged kids. Whenever I'm in an Apple store, it's very obvious just how strongly Apple is going after this demographic and I think it's paying off.

I agree. I think iPhone 5 will be if not literally then at least from feature perspective "iPhone 4S".
And I agree with you. I think it would make sense to call it iPhone 5 though - I think the "ProductName ProductVersion#" naming convention Apple has started using lately makes a lot of sense and is way simpler to understand for the average Joe than something like iPhone 3GS.

Also, the more we talk about him, the more he wins. If people continue to talk about him, he will just keep winning. There really is not anything else to discuss, but the media seems to enjoy rehashing his choices for some reason.

I'm not gonna buy music from Amazon again though, I downloaded 1 song for my Dad once from there. Because iTunes didn't have it, and Amazon emailed me for weeks with spam.
Just change your Amazon account settings. The only emails I get from them are to tell me if an order I placed has shipped.

I believe he's talking about them moving the volume buttons for the Verizon iPhone. So a case for the AT&T iPhone won't fit the Verizon iPhone.

What doesn't Amazon sell? toilet paper, tampons, tooth paste, and it is worth 80 billion, when it should be worth 1 billion. It is an uninspired discounter, like online-Walmart.
On Amazon you can buy used comic books, used read softcover novels, used 10 year old PaperMate pens, it is like a giant flea market.
They need sales and prestige to keep up their scam.
High valuations should belong to high tech companies. Amazon says the Kindle is their heart, when it represents less than 0.1% of its sales.
On Amazon they sell fertilizer made from dung.
Apple is instead a high tech company. It makes money by selling high advanced technology.
Unlike Amazon, which has no research and development budget (how much research do you need to carry Q-tips and tampons?), Apple is not a scam. It is what it says it ism a high tech edge company. Amazon says the same, but it is sad flea market selling dirty used bird feeders.

You know full well that not everyone who comes here is a developer and are running Lion through other means. I am sick of these posts over and over with people acting all high up and saying things like "Why don't you just go look at the change log?" or "Why don't you send the bug report to Apple" or "Why don't you just post it on Apple developer forums?". Each of these posters know full well what they are doing and it is annoying.
MacRumors is for Mac enthusiasts and many of its members want access to previews/betas even without being a developer.
How come no one is ever upset when MR posts information they shouldn't be on the homepage? I don't see people getting upset about them posting change logs when they become available.

My favorite iPhone design was the first one. Bring back the aluminum and rounded sides. It's not comfortable to hold this iPhone 4 brick!
It's just a matter of what you're used to. I love my IP4, and my wife's 3GS feels clunky to me. Cognitive dissonance says you'll end up defending whatever you have and resist changes. Just human nature, not good/bad design.

Nah you can select more than one event but you can only move one at a time.
2) When you select several events from different calendars and copy and paste them do they all turn into the same calendar category like the current version of iCal operates?

I then created a new calendar and pasted the 2 into there. Both changed to that colour Calendar. was that what you were after?

Wonders though how close you'd have to be, i mean if it is a few inches or less it is still a touch screen and the sillys will touch it anyway, but can you blame them it is an iPod. How can you not touch, even if youre not supposed to:) :) :)

1) Though they are using current AMD/ATi 512MB is pretty weak... Though 2GB BTO is a good thing.
2) Was hoping for more than 16GB support...
3) <rant>The Aussie store is getting screwed again, we are 10% over parity and paying 20% more than the US store, even with import duty Aussies are paying too much IMHO </rant>
Oh well may wait till next year, for the next iMac bump and Lion...

It's about time. But I've had a wireless mouse/keyboard set when I got my iMac G5 Rev. A back in the day, and I quickly got rid of it. I was sick and tired of changing the damn batteries every few weeks. I never mouse or type away from my desk, so I had no use for it, and I'd rather have the ugly wires than deal with the annoyance of buying/changing batteries often. Now, if they were rechargeable (in a dock, I don't want to have to take them out and put them in a seperate charger), I could see using them.
