not listed as a current study by stanford, but all folding research will help advance all knowledge of related disease. diabetes has been linked to mis-folded proteins, and work is ongoing by other universities. Since 10.6.4 I've experienced many Video Related problems, corrupt video data, slow performance and constant PS CS5 and Aperture 3 freezes and beach balls...(I use an Nvidia GTX 285 and a GT120 hooked up to 2 Monitors)
The whole computer is slow and unresponsive at times. I think I'm gonna be forced to reinstall Snow Leopard and go back to 10.6.3...

Can you use virtual instruments with Garageband like various Native Instruments products, Garritan, First Call Horns etc etc? Thanks.
I know for sure NI has AU format plugins for Mac. not sure about Garritan but I think they do.

How does the printer connect to the network? If it's supposed to be connected via WiFi, you should probably look at the printer itself and configure it to join the new WiFi network.

I have noticed this as well. The controller I got with the console is just a plane grey but the one I bought is a silvery colour.

well. I just downloaded and installed flip4mac.....but when I still go the the video site in question it still says I need a "plug in" and it suggests "flip4mac"...so I'm not sure what I am doing wrong????? :confused:

as far as i know it is on the connector, it built around the connector. Third party chargers doesn't have it. I also happen to have both the original and the 3rd party charger.

As much as I hate to say it, I would probably go with your friends offer. You won't get the Radeon 9800 but $1500 for a dual 2.0 is a fantastic price. Plus the standard graphics on the dual 2.0 was not horrible so you could get by on that for awhile if you need to. Plus, if your friend is local I would definitely go that way and save the shipping charge ;)

ummm ivy bridge is slated for release in the second half of so barring any delays in development it is pretty feasible that they will be out around september.

Wondering if anyone took apart the new iMac G5 isight and if its possible to use the VESA wall-mounting kit that was made for the older iMac G5?? I upgraded to the new iMac, only to find out that its not wall mountable

Take a look at jQuery. There's a lot of samples out there using that library. Specifically search for slideshow and/or hero.

The mix always comes out quiet, almost like it loses a few decibals. It's frustrating because I'll get all my levels right and everything sound good and that everything sounds quieter after mixdown.
Am I do something wrong, is this just what GarageBand does, am I missing the reason behind it?
It just doesn't make sense I also run ProTools & my mixes come out fine but there are certain projects I like using Garage Band for just because I can achieve a different sound that sometimes fits the particular track.
Any help would be great, been pondering this for quite some time!

I just watched both of these, and all I can say is...WOW. The most impressive game I've seen to date! :D
The guy talks about "progressive mesh" and how it's only possible with the Cell processor, etc. Interesting stuff.
Also, if I heard correctly, he said the game was easier to program for on the PS3 than the PS2? :eek:

Man, I love to support new music, but there's only two ways that I'm open to exploring stuff from my friends (and Youtube isn't one of them).
1. One or more MP3 download samples
2. Being on Emusic (www.emusic.com)
I'll try to check you out on Youtube anyway, but if you really want to get big, those suggestions (especially the first) are the way to go.
EDIT: I personally liked "Insomnia in Song", but I don't know if it's even gonna be on Itunes.
