Can't you just use iTunes to do this? Change preferences to use Ogg for importing music, then select everything and convert to Ogg. Or doesn't that work?
Alas, iTunes doesn't detect the Ogg plugin and won't give Ogg as an option. The method posted above, however, should work. I will give that a try.

What you'd like for that is a program that can edit in spectrum view. You would then be able to see the beeps and remove them with some careful selecting and deleting.
A waveform view shows amplitude of the sound (how loud it is) on the vertical. In a spectrum view you generally see the frequency range of the sound on the vertical. You would then see the beeps as short dense patches of sound in a specific frequency range.
Soundtrack Pro will do this. I've also used Izotope RX for this, but that's a fairly pricey app. There are others that will do it as well, but I'm not as well versed in them.

You're editing with a PAL frame size at an NTSC frame rate... fix that... PAL 720x576 @ 25fps or NTSC 720x480 @ 29.97fps

I have a bunch of discs that have come with magazines and stuff that I don't want. The magazine discs all have loads of software on them. Demos, shareware, freeware, mods. If you are looking for a certain piece of software please post here and I will see if I have it on a disc. Please keep in mind some of this stuff is not registered, it's just demos that you can get online. If you have a slow connection and want to download, say, a Photoshop CS2 trial, buying a disc with it from me would be much easier. Also on the magazine discs are reviews, videos, and tutorials. I will sell one for $1 shipped and 3 for $2 shipped. If you'd like to buy more than three, PM me and I will give you a special deal. They will be sent in small padded envelopes via USPS.
Here's what I can find:
iMac G4 Software Restore SSW v9.0
Griffin Powermate Software
iTube Internet TV 1.3
Macworld 25 Must-Have Tools
Practical Web Design (Templates, guides, etc.)
Logitech ImagStudio 7.3.0 and QuickCam 5.0.1 Software
Mac Creative Projects Summer 2005
MacAddict November 2005
MacAddict October 2005
MacAddict December 2005
MacAddict December 2004
MacAddict September 2004
MacAddict July 2005
MacAddict January 2005
MacAddict August 2005
I also have about 5 discs that were messed up when I burned them. If you want them, 50 cents shipped for all 5. Great for art projects.
If your interested, I need payment before Saturday. I will send them out Saturday and then I am leaving and won't be back until after Christmas, so buy them now!

Hi,
Thank you for your answers : ) !!!
I am a member of different forums, not only photography forums. In all these forums every now and then it is agreed that one could have asked Google. However, we have also agreed in those other forums, that by placing a question, one may get different information to what already is out there.
Yes, I would be using a lens like the Canon 16-35 mm. It is a very good lens. For the price, I wonder what manufactures this Red brand lens that is so expensive. In the FAQ in their website, they say that at the moment "it is confidential" to say who the manufacturers for the lenses are. However, the Red primes are manufactured by Schneider Kreuznach in Germany who also manufactured some medium format lenses for photography. Sharper than Zeiss and more expensive.
Very kind regards,
igmolinav : ) !!!

A midi signal doesn't contain any sound. You need to pick a software instrument in Garageband.
Jolly Jimmy, Thanks! That fixed it. Thought I had tried that before, but must have changed it without realising.
I have sound now.

Well, the speed of your internet connection has nothing to do with it... it is all about your processor. It is possible that the program just happened to grab a really big protein from the server. I'm running on a G5@ 1.8 and have had some proteins taking many days to complete. My iBook G3 took forever. So, I'd just be patient.

Supposed to be a fresh shipment or something going on? :)
Regardless, I hope you folks have better experiences with yours than I've had with mine (and many other people as well).

At first we had to code our own getters and setters. There was no concept of a property in Objective-C 1.0, except by the convention that if a class had a method x and a method setX: then it could have been said to have property x.
Then Apple created Objective-C 2.0 and it introduced the @property and @synthesise directives, as well as the dot notation. And the number of getters and setters we had to write was reduced to near zero. And our getters and setters become correct in the face of concurrency (assuming no nonatomic) which set us up well for the days of multicore CPUs and GCD.
And the people programming in the land of Apple were happy. (Well generally, some have some valid objections to dot notation).
So yeah, it's just syntax. But I'd highly recommend you use it, unless you have strong reasons not to.

My IPod touch 3g is only 4 months old but I get about an hours use before the the 20% battery life come up. I brought it back to Apple and everything checks out. I love the unit but the battery life sucks. I have gone on line and checked out how to get better batery life, but If I did what it says to do, it would be useless.

Is it smart buying a new Mac RAID card to have RAID 5 in a new MP w/4x3TB drives and NEC 27" display if I am doing video editing, today, or save the $ on the MP, and card, and use (instead) either an iMac with eSATA card rigged for external RAID or a MacBook Pro w/Thunderbolt somehow connected to what doesn't exist until summer? Or, should I wait for iMac refresh??? I need machine ASAP, but suppose I could get quad interface and suffer w/FW8 until TB comes online. What to do? Any ideas?

I have about a dozen of those, and the local computer recycling shop always has a bunch in their "$1 mouse pads" bin. I don't imagine they're very rare or valuable.

Congratulations!
I'm sure you'll be more than pleased with that machine.
I completely understand about the mouse. When I was getting my blue and white G3, I picked up a three button scroll mouse because I wasn't going to use the puck mouse.
I agree with you on WinXP. I used it and it is worthy of attention but unfortunately, it takes too much attention. It always seems to be helping you by making decisions that you may not want. Mac OS X, while not anywhere near complete, is just there to do whatever you need done.

No Gilmour, no soul. :(
I know Gilmour wasn't a founding member, but Pink Floyd is not Pink Floyd without their lead guitarist.

What, in basic terms, are the differences between the two different models of the APExpress?
the older one only supports only B/G networks.
the newer one also supports N (and adds the 5GHz frequencies)
the newer one will also let you connect something to the ethernet port (like a PS3 or a computer) if you join a network, where as the older one will only let you do that if you are extending a network.
